National Public Lands Day 2026 will be Saturday, September 26. This is a statewide event that provides unique opportunities for Minnesota Master Naturalist Volunteers to participate in our largest single-day of service. Locations across the state will have MNats and others out helping to make Minnesota a better place!

Friends and family are welcome to participate, but must be registered to participate. Everyone will sign a photo release upon site registration. All participants will receive a free NPLD MNat t-shirt as a thank you for participating. You can add additional participant names in the comment field.

Registration by September 4th is required to receive a t-shirt. Registration will close on September 18th for participation in the event without a t-shirt.

"Celebrate Minnesota Valley National Wildlife Refuge's 50th birthday in conjunction with National Public Lands Day!

We will be working on habitat restoration projects around our Bloomington Visitor Center. This may include invasive species removal, planting, seed collection and general landscaping. Participants can also join in on the refuge's 50th birthday activities. "

bring: water bottle, snacks, sunscreen; wear: close-toed shoes, long pants ADD any family members or friends by name with t-shirt sizes in the comments section, along with any dietary restrictions or special accommodations.
