Thanks for joining us on Frontenac State Park. Located along the Mississippi River, Frontenac is a birdwatcher’s paradise and one of the best places in the country to witness spring and fall migrations. With more than 260 species recorded, Lake Pepin’s diverse habitats, bluff lands, prairie, floodplain forest, and hardwood forest, attract a wide variety of birdlife.
