The prairie bloom peaks in August and September. Let's get out there and immerse ourselves in flowers and grasses. We will spend time observing and identifying prairie plants as well as their pollinators. This special relationship between flowers and insects has many amazing evolutionary tales. We will use dichotomous keys, the Seek App and other observation tools in the field. $8/person.

Instructor Information
Anne has been an outdoor educator for over 25 years and is known for creating adventuresome and safe learning experiences for people ages 3 to 93 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies, is a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), a Leave No Trace (LNT) Master Educator, PSIA Nordic ski instructor and is currently fascinated with mushrooms. Her world travels have taken her from the rivers and eskers of the Arctic Circle to the mountains and glaciers of Patagonia.
