You will participate in weekly synchronous Zoom meetings during scheduled class time (entirely online). Specific course requirements: computer/tablet with a functioning microphone or headset, internet access. This course will focus on the coniferous forest biome of Minnesota with an emphasis on identifying native plants and animals. During field trip weeks students will be allowed to choose the time and specific location to visit from a choice of provided field trip sites within Anoka and/or Hennepin Counties to satisfy the field requirements of the course. All students are required to participate in a minimum of 10 hours of service-learning as part of a small group capstone project.
